With 13 conservancies to hunt in Namibia, there is an added responsibility to take care of Problem animals around any communities within the conservancies. There have been times this year that there have been up to FIVE different Problem Lion Management Permits on the ground. As soon as someone is registered to hunt Problem Lion in Namibia, a Management Permit is converted to an exportable, hunting permit.

There has been so much Leopard and Lion activity reported in the last few months. Gert says that he has never seen this many Lion tracks and had this many Problem Lion reports. These Problem Lion hunts are the ultimate hunting experience because in many incidents, these Lion can be tracked. Rassie has been paying compensation to the local villagers for each goat, sheep or cow that has been killed to stop them poisoning these problem animals
